makk.us is a blog that was established in 2011 to present my experiences whilst volunteering for J.E.E.P. in Uganda, where I worked for one year promoting energy saving stoves for the rural population. After graduating as Bachelor of Business Administration and studying African Studies, I became Co-Founder of GloW Energy where we produce and sell energy saving stoves as assembly sets for developing countries. Energy-saving stoves will improve energy efficiency in cooking, qualities of life such as health and cooking time and they are ecologically sustainable. As Assembly sets they are much easier to transport and can be easily assembled at the target location in any region.
Right now I am operating from Uganda where we started the pilot phase to evaluate and testify the stoves and the concept of GloW.
