MY ‘NEW’ OLD CAMERA LENS
Recently I received a package from my parents with some stuff for my camera! Soooo great: a second battery and more important: the Leitz Vario-Elmar-R 1:4,5/75-200mm camera lens which my dad already used to take great photos in the late 70s. 🙂 Having this fabulous, quality optics in my equipment now, I can even take more great shots from all over Uganda. For my first trials with the new lens, I went to old taxi park in down town Kampala to take some nice shots from the balcony of Indigo Pool Bar, a great place with a stunning panorama view all over the taxi park. Have a look yourself… First shots, not edited at all… click here ->

Some rather blurred shots, too, but on the whole overwhelming impressions of what we would call chaos in Europe – not quite so on for African observers, I guess 😉
